Unity the Community

"Providing for those in need in the Plant City area in as many ways as possible" is the stated mission of Unity. Hulk Hogan has helped to raise money by donating cars to be put up for raffle in addition to making public appearances and signing autographs.

• 03/14/10 - Plant City, FL: STINGRAY CHEVROLET owner STEVE HURLEY and syndicated radio host BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE purchased and customized a 2010 HULK HOGAN Edition Camaro, which was the feature vehicle displayed at the recent FLORIDA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL. All proceeds ($67,915) from a raffle held to win the car were donated to UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY, a PLANT CITY, FLORIDA non-profit organization which primarily supports MEALS ON WHEELS for seniors and the UNITED FOOD BANK in PLANT CITY. {pic}

The money came from the sale of tickets on a chance to win a 2011 "Hulk Hogan Edition" green-and-black Camaro SS from Stingray Chevrolet valued at about $40,000 {pic}
